This means that the SRT is priced higher than the Revolver, which is second in Bell’s modular range and retails at $349.95.

This objective comfort feature reduces neck and shoulder torque in a lightweight modular helmet. The weight of a medium fiberglass composite helmet was 1750 grams. It has two shell sizes for keeping it lighter on smaller heads.

Panovision Protint Shield

Various manufacturers produce auto-darkening eye shields. The Panovision design by Bell was developed for better field of vision than traditional face shields. It is a more touristy design when compared to an ADV helmet’s small eyeport, but the autodarkening makes it greater.

There is hardly any noticeable change from sun to Protint shield shade. At midday, it reduces glare but does not show on the night where you need total clarity. I never felt muddled after dark, in heavy mid-day rain and fog or without solar protection during my thousands of kilometers with this helmet. This also eliminated the need to take along a dark shield for day riding and a clear one for evenings. 

Unlike others companies’ shields; even the most expensive ones; Protint shield opens easily. The helmet has a tab at the bottom front which helps in raising or lowering it easily while there’s just enough crack in the shield to let some breeze through.

It also prevented fogging up too. That therefore means that no problems occurred due to use of Protint shield either way.
